A Leap of Faith

To me, Faith is a felt oneness with a vision. In other words, when we put ourselves, or find ourselves in proximity to what we are wanting, when we want it and when we notice we are wanting it, we can ask ourselves: am I feeling in alignment with this vision being real? Do I trust this vision? Am I embodying my faith?
The leap is into the heart of knowing that as you release worry and embrace your freedom to choose which vibration feels most in alignment with your vision right now - you are creating a clear channel for it to reach you.
Now, I encourage you to watch the following two videos of Bashar. They will invite you to really get a clear feel for what this process of embodying faith feels like, and offer you a simple yet very powerful tool to use to your advantage.
Circumstances don’t MATTER only state of BEing MATTERS
part two
Oftentimes our physical mind wants to know step-by-step HOW things are going to or should pan out: it wants the process to “make sense”. However, when we find ourselves identifying with this mind we feel as though its point of view is the only real one there is. We identify with it by believing we are that logical mind. Our story is who we are; our very sense of self is rooted within that story. This story has a beginning, a middle and an end and we are somewhere in the middle of it.
The truth is, our physical. logical mind is only a fraction of who we are. We are also our Intuitive Self/Higher Self/Inner Being/Source…
Imagine for a moment that your Higher Self is standing on the top of the mountain and the physical mind is down in the valley.
The physical mind want to go from point A to point B and because the shortest distance between two objects is a straight line, the physical mind wants to go forward, then right to get to where it wants to be.
Now imagine that the Higher Self can see a broader scope of what is. It sees the valley and it sees where the physical mind is in the valley. It can also see that the bridge the physical mind has to cross just before he would need to turn right is broken and that if the physical mind were to go backwards, then left it would get there more efficiently.
But the Higher Self cannot communicate this to the physical mind in terms it understands. The Higher Self is an energy that transcends and includes thought. This means that while the physical mind is capable of translating the energy into thought, the primary substance of this energy is of a higher frequency and therefore cannot be transmitted purely as a thought. And we all know how the physical mind like to utilize thought energy by creating a lot of monkey chatter. It must be still for us to recognize intuitive guidance.
So all the physical mind gets from the Higher Self is an URGE to go backwards. And it starts asking how this possibly makes sense???
It is up to us, to Observe the physical mind and trust that our urges are messages from our Higher Self: _IF_ they feel good - even though we cannot logically figure it out.
This is where trusting our emotional guidance system comes in. You do not need to know what the next step will be, you just need to choose a state of Being that feels good to YOU and let that be your compass point - your true north. BE this energy: BE.HAVE. Behave accordingly; respond in faith. Have the feeling of your vision be your true north.
Know that your Higher Self is unconditional in its love for you. It is not separate from you: the choices you make do have impact on your Higher Self but your Higher Self exists in a state of pure, unconditional love and because of this is forgiving. It is here to guide you not control you. And this is why our intuition is not a booming THOU SHALT but rather a “hey, how bout this?” And if we choose something else, it is not offended. Rather, it asks again. It honours our Free Will.
There is NEVER a point of no return. We are always where we need to be. So its up to us to have fun with this process and allow ourselves to boldly define what we want by Feeling our way through this with a clear vision, a clear faith.
Abraham-Hicks on the Vortex

“When you’re in the vortex, you’re in this magical swirl of all things working out for you. And there are so many people who have discovered what that is, and they are people who have learned to talk about what they want, and not about what they don’t want. They are people who have learned to praise rather than criticize. They are people who have learned to be optimistic rather than pessimistic. They are people who have trained themselves, thought by thought, into the vortex.” - Abraham
This video was excerpted from the DVD The Vortex: Where Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships, a companion to the newest book by Esther and Jerry Hicks. | Esther and Jerry Hicks, authors of the 2008 #1 New York Times Best Seller, Money and the Law of Attraction, have just produced their newest and most powerful book to date, The Vortex: Where the Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships. This new book will leave you feeling free and clear, as the impossible task of sorting out all of the complicated moving parts of the relationships in your life lifts up off of you. As you read the 22 flawed premises that are at the core of the confusion you feel, you will discover a new point of attraction, and every relationship you have will improve. It feels so good to understand. And that understanding will change your point of attraction so dramatically that every relationship that you desire will flow easily to you. Order In The Vortex, Abraham describes the powerful spiraling energy center, our Vortex, that contains all of the relationship requests that have emanated from us and all of the components called forth by the Law of Attraction to meet our requests. Who feeds the creative Vortex that spins out our life experience? We do. As Abraham reminds us: “All things that happen in your experience come because of the requests that you are sending out with your thoughts . . . You have the power to evoke from others the relationships that you desire . . . If you simply imagine your life as you want it to be, all cooperative components will be summoned. And even more important, all components that are summoned will cooperate. It is Law.” You have the power to evoke from others a relationship that is in harmony with the freedom, and the growth, and the joy that you seek. It all begins with greater awareness of who-you-are and a deeper understanding of your own personal Guidance System that will return you to alignment with Source. As Abraham says, “For by your finding agreement with the power that flows forth from within you, the harmony that you seek on all other levels and all other subjects—and within all others—will then (and only then) be possible.” It is Abraham’s desire to help you remember the art of alignment first—then action. Alignment first—then conversation. Alignment first—then interaction. Alignment first—then anything else. Your relationships will all fall easily into alignment once you tend to this fundamental primary relationship first. Order The Vortex and learn how to achieve the harmony you desire at all levels, in all of your relationships. In celebration of the release of The Vortex, if you order now, you’ll receive a FREE 2-hour workshop download by Abraham-Hicks immediately upon purchase! |

Ritual and the Law of Attraction

As Joyous Visionaries we are on a continuous journey of discovery that leads us again and again to that place within that affirms, “Indeed! The Law of Attraction is the essential force that animates all living systems I know!”
Time and time again, as if spiralling on an axis of remembrance, we find ourselves deepening our understanding of just how powerful the Law of Attraction is. It is here, at this edge, that we invite ourselves on an exciting quest that calls us to synchronise our beliefs and projections with this essential law.
So, as we direct our attention to the art of ritual, I propose that we formulate a mutual vision of how the law of attraction works and then see how they harmonise with each other.
Attention
Our attention determines our perspective and everything we perceive is always a vibrational match to the essence of our attention.
We have access to the essence of our attention through our emotional guidance system. By including into our attention the quality of our emotional resonance with that which we are focusing upon, we can determine if it is pleasing to us or if it is not.
If it is pleasing to us we allow ourselves to open up to more of the same by continuing to include that which we are focusing upon into our field of awareness.
If it is not pleasing to us, we detach from it and choose something different to focus upon using our emotional guidance system to navigate our way through this process.
One of the attributes of a Joyous Visionary is that we detach from that which is not pleasing to us from the heart-space.
In other words, from a place of knowing that there are no mistakes in Dreamtime, that all is consistently well, we allow ourselves to thank what it is that has brought us to this place of realising our misalignment with our joyous visions and in love we hand it over to Source and shift our focus.
We will be discussing more aspects of detachment later on but I want to point out, as you can and will continue to see, how these steps dovetail into each other. They are not things we have to arrange and do sequentially because we are practicing each of them simultaneously all the time. Our “work” is to simply be aware of where we are and in so doing, give our attention to the quality of our emotional resonance.
The domain of attention is one of the most pivotal arenas of discovery for the Joyous Visionary. With consistent practice we come to know how vital our perspective is in terms of what we are experiencing.
Notice that in all your offerings of attention, there are really only two routes that attention can take: the route of lack or the route of presence. We are either focused on the apparent lack of something or the presence of it. This is your direct indicator of the experience you are calling forth into your Dreamtime.
Are you calling forth a Dream of presence or a Dream of lack? Are you focused on what you are wanting or the lack of it?
Have fun with this. Cultivate a sense of eager participation with all the facets that make up your awareness. It is only by knowing yourself that you come to know the being-ness of Source.
Intention
As we come to experience more and more evidence of the power of our attention, we realise that we have unlimited freedom available to us: we are free in any given moment to shift our attention to align with our Vision and our Vision is always free to expand.
We come to realise that the essence of what we are wanting is always a state of being and that anything beyond that is how we would like to play with this energy.
We know that it is our attention that does the asking. We know that Law of Attraction is always responding. Now we align with the presence of our wanting made manifest and we do this through the power of our intention.
Intention is the activity of swimming in the Dream where your Vision is as real as real can be. It is the willingness to act on that which resonates with the currents of this water. We must know this water well in order to recognise the inspiration it births.
We come to know that within the Dream we have the power to suspend belief in what appears to be real and that within the metaphysical space of daring to dream we give ourselves permission to write our script from a place of trust. Trust is what gives momentum to our intentions.
Detachment
To be detached is to be lucid in the Dream. We are Dreaming for the joy of it, because it gives us deep satisfaction to know we can never get it wrong and that in never getting it done, we are always free to Dream.
When we are feeling angst about what we are manifesting it is because we are attached to it. We can be attached in one of two ways.
The first type of attachment is aversion. If we have an aversion to what we are wanting we feel uneasy about receiving it. When we imagine ourselves in proximity to it we experience a stream of resistance. We may believe that in order to have what we are wanting there must be a trade –off.
We may feel as though a series of complicated events must occur between our asking and our having in order for it to reach fruition - a coping mechanism designed to keep us from having to take responsibility for this attachment.
To neutralize this kind of attachment we detach from trying to figure out the “how” and learn to trust the efficiency and consistency of the Law of Attraction.
We also come to understand the value of forgiveness and how heart felt intention can soften the vibration of unworthiness.
As Joyous Visionaries we realise that forgiveness is the response to judgement. We come to know that what we are attached to is our perspective and in our detachment we choose to tell our story from within our Vision.
The second kind of attachment is resistance. Remember earlier we spoke of attention taking one of two routes: the route of lack or the route of presence? Well, when we do our asking while our attention is routed in lack, every time our wanting comes into focus we feel the lack of it immediately present in our current vibrational state.
For example, if we find ourselves in a pattern of feeling impoverished each time we open a bill, keeping in mind that every moment, every action, is an asking, we can be sure that we are doing our asking from a place of lack awareness. We are perceiving the Dream and believing that it is more real than our freedom to Dream deliberately. We are not, in that moment of feeling impoverished, including our Vision of presence into the field of our focus.
At the point of observing the lack of presence within your vibration you unleash your freedom.
Here is where you jump for joy! For it is here, in this sliver of realisation, that you detach from attachment.
Any attention given to the attachment from this point forward is deliberately turning against the current.
There can be many reasons for deliberately turning against the current. One common reason is the belief that we must think our way through creation.
If you find yourself resisting the shift of focus that brings about an attention routed in presence, it is most likely because you are trying to think yourself into alignment instead of intending yourself there.
Your inner being at this point is reminding you that it does not have to be an effort or a struggle and this is where being willing to listen to your emotional guidance system can greatly assist you. It is saying that what you are wanting is accessible right here, right now, with a simple shift in perspective.
Know that you never have to reach the equal and opposite vibration of what you are experiencing instantly. In other words, you are never expected to go from 0 – exuberantly joyous in 0.3 seconds.
Reaching for presence is choosing relief and oftentimes the easiest way of finding the freedom to make this choice is in the simple following of the breath.
Focusing on the breath takes the edge off being completely occupied in the mental body. We cannot think and be attentive of our breathing at the same time. Here we relieve ourselves from needing to control. It takes no effort to breathe. We relieve ourselves from past and future and we discover the familiar feeling of being present in our bodies.
Here we cultivate our personal relationship with the stream of wellbeing. How does it feel? How does your body respond? How does your thinking respond?
By practicing the art of being present when we are not attached, it becomes easier for us to slip into it when we want to detach.
Ritual
Having covered the basic foundation of the Law of Attraction we can see how the art of ritual can enhance our understanding and participation within it.
Quite simply, a ritual is an act of asking and allowing that employs an open dialogue with Source using attention, intention and detachment to outcome in the process.
A ritual is a mirror image, a movie if you will, of our inner world of manifesting. Any material objects used during a ritual is specifically dedicated to resembling a facet of our inner work. Are you beginning to see how the life of a Joyous Visionary is ritual itself?
Ritual is powerful because it is imbued with creative energy. It works because it has our trust and our heartfelt participation.
Creative Energy
Creative energy flows on the breath of inspiration, through our open hearts and willing hands.
We are open to inspiration when our being is immersed in the knowing that all is as it should be. When we approach Life with a sense of appreciation for what is we allow creative energy to flow through us.
It is for this reason that we remember that any work we do along our path of manifestation, whether it be a ritual, visualization or a rampage of appreciation, we are doing it for the pure joy of it, not because we are wanting it to transport us to where we are not. We do it loving where we are and loving where we want to be simultaneously.

Moving Mudra Meditation

dancing in mudra
A moving mudra meditation is a sacred dance of invocation, a living prayer.
We use hand genstures as mudras, the Sanskrit word for sign, to embody our intentions as we open ourselves up to allowing universal energies of manifestation to flow through us with ease and grace.
I invite you to spend some time playing with this in order to generate a deep sense of understanding for each mudra. In short they are invoking witness, being receptive, finding balance between relaxed and altert, paying tribute to the vastness of life, recognizing the unity of all that is and honouring this connection from moment to moment.
In this dance we are channels through which we invite the presence of our intentions to be felt as desires already met as we enter present moment being through the rhythm of our breathing: we are fully in our bodies. Our intentions occupying real time with us.

entering the present moment, setting intent
We call upon Earth Mother as our divine witness to our present moment being. We are grounded, earthed, centered and we are held in the loving gaze of Nurturing energy.

hands raised, palms facing downward
We are receptive, open and allowing to whatever may unfold, fully absorbing our reception within our receptivity.

hands raised, palms facing upward
We balance the energies of relaxation and altert awareness within the heart space and stabilize ourselves in a steadfast mind. We allow ourselves to witness ourselves as we are witnessed by the divine and loving presence of Earth Mother.

hands overlapping,palms facing upward
We pay tribute to the vastness of Life, acknowledging the infinite potential contained within every particle, every nuance of Life.

hands in prayer
We celebrate Life in all it’s magnificence.

dancing in prayer
We experience, explore and express the connectedness of all things through our awareness of unity and unification.

thumbs and pointer fingers forming circles, rest of fingers fanned out
We allow ourselves to move freely within unity, honouring our unique expression and expansion as part of this divine connection.

dancing in unity
We embody our intention to feel this holy connection from moment to moment, activating within us a living intention that is now being sewn into the fabric of our moment to moment experience of life.

hands raised, fingers pointing upward
We fully embrace the expression of Life in our present moment being. We dance like Source is watching.

dancing in the present moment

feeling all resistance wash away in surrendering to the present moment

welcoming the feeling of being welcome home
And again, we pay tribute to the vastness of all Life, knowing deeply that all is united in a cosmic dance of manifestation and that all is indeed very well, right here, right now.

hands and hearts in prayer
Here is a movie that you can watch to assist you with learning each of the mudras. Have fun and feel free to connect with me and share your experiences - I’d love to hear from you!
Discovering What You Want
May 31, 2009 by Melanie
Filed under LoA Games and Processes
Behind every desire is the core feeling we believe the dream will bring with it, so it can be very enlightening, and infinitely beneficial, to recognize and acknowledge the quality behind a desire. Here’s a process to help you identify what it is you are truly hoping for through the manifestation of your goals.
Get specific about your desire. Write out a description of your desire, including specifics around how it will make you feel to manifest this for yourself. Include all of your senses in your description, as this will engage your body in the feeling place of having your desire manifested and help you clarify what it is you truly want.
What quality will your desire bring? Read through your description and think about the essence of feeling behind the manifestation. Is it love? peace? accomplishment? confidence? harmony? What feeling is it you are hoping your desire will help you to achieve?
Recognize where you already have it. Once you’ve made note of the quality behind your desire, spend some time thinking about where you already experience those feelings in your life. Spend some time appreciating where you already have what you hope to manifest, and think of ways you might increase the frequency of those experiences in your life.
Consider the options. Think about the other ways in which you can have the feelings you are hoping to manifest with your desire. What other things could you do to bring those feelings into your life?
The more you can allow yourself to experience the feelings of your desire, the more you attune yourself to that frequency of vibration. The more attuned you are, the easier it is for the Universe to bring you more that matches that frequency. So have fun feeling your way around your desires, and watch the magic unfold!
We’d love to hear how this process works for you! Please feel free to leave a comment or drop us an email.
Trusting in our Process
May 17, 2009 by Melanie
Filed under LoA Games and Processes, Me, Myself and I
One of the most important things we can do to help improve our manifesting experience is to build a relationship of trust within ourselves. Trust that things always work out, trust in the flow, trust in our natural abilities, trust in the Universe’s desire and ability to support us… When we have faith in the process and our place within it, we sit in a space of positive expectation, allowing room for magic and miracles to happen! This exercise is about recognizing where we have experienced a deep level of trust in our lives so that we can tap into that feeling in other areas.
Consider past manifestations. Make a list of things that you imagined, wanted, and then received in your life. This list might include things you have consciously manifested, or it may include mostly things that unfolded for you without your deliberate intent. It doesn’t matter how actively you pursued the manifestation, or how big or small the item or experience was. (If you have difficultly coming up with a list of your own past experiences, feel free to borrow from the experiences of others around you.)
What was the level of trust? Take a look at your list and consider what level of trust you had that you were going to receive each thing. Did you just know you were going to get that raise? Were you absolutely confident that the boy would want to go out with you? Were you sure you were going to win that contest?
Look at your current desire. Think about a current desire you are hoping to manifest. What’s your level of trust and expectation of success? Recognize where your trust is strong, and where you might need a boost. You might want to use EFT to tap on any areas where you feel a great deal of resistance.
Demonstrate your trust. Think about what action you could take right now to demonstrate your trust, and faith in your success? This might mean sharing your plans with others (be sure they’re people that will be supportive!), doing some research for your new web site, contacting a travel agent to inquire about that vacation, test driving your new car… think about the steps you would take if you absolutely trusted that your desire is manifesting, and consider moving forward with some of them!
We’d love to hear about how this process works for you! Please do leave a comment or send us an email to share any insights you have.

There are some amazing resources online offering opportunities to learn more about the law of attraction (LoA). Here’s a sampling of some of my favourite places to learn and share about LoA.
Abraham-Hicks I really can’t get enough of the Abraham materials! If you are interested in learning more about LoA, then this is the place to start, with the teachers that founded the modern day movement. There are many places online to experience this wonderful wisdom. You can start with the Abraham-Hicks web site. I highly recommend signing up for their daily quotes, and be sure to check out their video clip section. (Most clips are also available on their YouTube channel.)
Wise Ways of Women Wise Ways of Women is an online community focused on supporting those making their journey as deliberate and conscious creators. It’s a place to discuss, learn and share information about using the LoA to create the experiences we want in life. This is a community I started a little over two years ago, and it is my favourite place to hang out online. Drop by and say hi!
Twitter Ok, so one might not automatically think of Twitter as an LoA resource, but the wealth of support, connections, and fabulous LoA materials to be found through Twitter is not to be beat! Just do a search for ‘LoA’ or ‘law of attraction’ and follow all the interesting people that turn up. The insights and information you receive will not disappoint! Inspired Action: A Key Ingredient in Manifesting Success with Kendra Thornbury

“One drop of water helps to swell the ocean; a spark of fire helps to give light to the world. None are too small, too feeble, too poor to be of service. Think of this and act.” ~Hannah More
An idea, a vision, a desire, an insight….you feel it. It moves you. It excites you. It compels you. It IS you.
It is life moving through you.
Inspire. It means to “breathe life into“. You feel this inspiration, this life force/source breathing through you and…
leaping into the unknown, you take action. Trusting the inspiration from which this action came, you say YES to the life force/source that birthed the idea, desire or creation in the first place.
When you take action from this place, you are fully satisfied.
This is inspired action. It is to act on that which is vital, alive, and dynamic in the moment.
Inspired action=breath of life moving through you, compelling you to express and act.
You don’t need to know all the pieces of the puzzle.
When you go with it, you just KNOW that the pieces will reveal themselves as you going along.
If you remain present to the life in it-the sense of passion, of joy, of purpose-the universe will guide you to the how.
I live in inspired action. New creations come to me. I take action without knowing how it’s going to play out. I take risks. I say yes.
My latest seminar, “HOT Manifesting Wisdom & Tips“, is an example of this. It came to me last week. I put it out during the weekend. Over 100 people registered in a few days.
I noticed that a lot of my past (& current) clients signed up (they know I offer quality stuff!). Some had already taken the Gratitude course I was offering.
So, I chose it to be an opportunity to create something new.
Within 24 hours, I had a new seminar series designed with new website published!
I couldn’t have “thought” about this for days, weeks, and months. The energy would have left. I would have over analyzed it and lost my juice for it. I may have become doubtful and just put it aside.
But I went with it. Inspired action.
Stay true to those nudges, visions and inspirations in you. They are life. They are meant to be expressed. Don’t let the cycle of its life die. It is alive in you to enjoy, so go for it.
What inspired action will you take today?! It will express your joy. And when you are in joy, it will surely bring out joy in others.
