A Leap of Faith

To me, Faith is a felt oneness with a vision. In other words, when we put ourselves, or find ourselves in proximity to what we are wanting, when we want it and when we notice we are wanting it, we can ask ourselves: am I feeling in alignment with this vision being real? Do I trust this vision? Am I embodying my faith?

The leap is into the heart of knowing that as you release worry and embrace your freedom to choose which vibration feels most in alignment with your vision right now - you are creating a clear channel for it to reach you.

Now, I encourage you to watch the following two videos of Bashar. They will invite you to really get a clear feel for what this process of embodying faith feels like, and offer you a simple yet very powerful tool to use to your advantage.

Circumstances don’t MATTER only state of BEing MATTERS

part two

Oftentimes our physical mind wants to know step-by-step HOW things are going to or should pan out: it wants the process to “make sense”. However, when we find ourselves identifying with this mind we feel as though its point of view is the only real one there is. We identify with it by believing we are that logical mind. Our story is who we are; our very sense of self is rooted within that story. This story has a beginning, a middle and an end and we are somewhere in the middle of it.

The truth is, our physical. logical mind is only a fraction of who we are. We are also our Intuitive Self/Higher Self/Inner Being/Source…

Imagine for a moment that your Higher Self is standing on the top of the mountain and the physical mind is down in the valley.

The physical mind want to go from point A to point B and because the shortest distance between two objects is a straight line, the physical mind wants to go forward, then right to get to where it wants to be.

Now imagine that the Higher Self can see a broader scope of what is. It sees the valley and it sees where the physical mind is in the valley. It can also see that the bridge the physical mind has to cross just before he would need to turn right is broken and that if the physical mind were to go backwards, then left it would get there more efficiently.

But the Higher Self cannot communicate this to the physical mind in terms it understands. The Higher Self is an energy that transcends and includes thought. This means that while the physical mind is capable of translating the energy into thought, the primary substance of this energy is of a higher frequency and therefore cannot be transmitted purely as a thought. And we all know how the physical mind like to utilize thought energy by creating a lot of monkey chatter. It must be still for us to recognize intuitive guidance.

So all the physical mind gets from the Higher Self is an URGE to go backwards. And it starts asking how this possibly makes sense???

It is up to us, to Observe the physical mind and trust that our urges are messages from our Higher Self: _IF_ they feel good - even though we cannot logically figure it out.

This is where trusting our emotional guidance system comes in. You do not need to know what the next step will be, you just need to choose a state of Being that feels good to YOU and let that be your compass point - your true north. BE this energy: BE.HAVE. Behave accordingly; respond in faith. Have the feeling of your vision be your true north.

Know that your Higher Self is unconditional in its love for you. It is not separate from you: the choices you make do have impact on your Higher Self but your Higher Self exists in a state of pure, unconditional love and because of this is forgiving. It is here to guide you not control you. And this is why our intuition is not a booming THOU SHALT but rather a “hey, how bout this?” And if we choose something else, it is not offended. Rather, it asks again. It honours our Free Will.

There is NEVER a point of no return. We are always where we need to be. So its up to us to have fun with this process and allow ourselves to boldly define what we want by Feeling our way through this with a clear vision, a clear faith.

During this call we explore what Reiki is what healing means in the light of knowing that all is well.

We also enjoy an Energy Awareness Practice in which we sense and channel energy and feel it viscerally in our bodies and from this come to understand the energetic tools we use to work with energy.

We also talk about our upcoming Reiki for Life Certification Program and let you know how you can take the next step in joining us.

Being Reiki

September 17, 2009

During this call we deepen our understanding of what it is to Be Reiki and how this allows us to experience healing in the light of knowing all is well from a powerful place of allowing.

We also explore the first Reiki principle for living and enjoy and Energy Awareness Practice in which we experience ourselves as Sensors of energy as opposed to identifying with energy. This is a powerful tool for anyone wanting to realize their wellbeing even during contrasting circumstances in which we find ourselves doubting that all is being well.

Being Reiki

This recording goes deeper into what it means to Be Reiki and invites us to deepen our visceral understanding of our eternal nature.

Our Energy Awareness Practice invites us to sense and feel our natural state of eternal wellbeing and from this space of unconditional being we realize the true power of the second Reiki principle which is all about appreciation.

One of the most profound aspects of this call is the exploration within the value of appreciating all that is and all that is becoming for as conscious creators we know that rockets of desire as Abraham-Hicks would say, are born out of contrast.

“When you’re in the vortex, you’re in this magical swirl of all things working out for you. And there are so many people who have discovered what that is, and they are people who have learned to talk about what they want, and not about what they don’t want. They are people who have learned to praise rather than criticize. They are people who have learned to be optimistic rather than pessimistic. They are people who have trained themselves, thought by thought, into the vortex.” - Abraham

This video was excerpted from the DVD The Vortex: Where Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships, a companion to the newest book by Esther and Jerry Hicks. You can pick up a copy of the book at Amazon.com, or keep reading below to find out more about the Hay House promotional offer with great deals on this and related products.

Esther and Jerry Hicks - The Vortex
Esther and Jerry Hicks, authors of the 2008 #1 New York Times Best Seller, Money and the Law of Attraction, have just produced their newest and most powerful book to date,
The Vortex: Where the Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships
.

This new book will leave you feeling free and clear, as the impossible task of sorting out all of the complicated moving parts of the relationships in your life lifts up off of you. As you read the 22 flawed premises that are at the core of the confusion you feel, you will discover a new point of attraction, and every relationship you have will improve.

It feels so good to understand. And that understanding will change your point of attraction so dramatically that every relationship that you desire will flow easily to you.

Order
The Vortex
now!

In The Vortex, Abraham describes the powerful spiraling energy center, our Vortex, that contains all of the relationship requests that have emanated from us and all of the components called forth by the Law of Attraction to meet our requests. Who feeds the creative Vortex that spins out our life experience? We do. As Abraham reminds us:

“All things that happen in your experience come because of the requests that you are sending out with your thoughts . . . You have the power to evoke from others the relationships that you desire . . . If you simply imagine your life as you want it to be, all cooperative components will be summoned. And even more important, all components that are summoned will cooperate. It is Law.”

You have the power to evoke from others a relationship that is in harmony with the freedom, and the growth, and the joy that you seek. It all begins with greater awareness of who-you-are and a deeper understanding of your own personal Guidance System that will return you to alignment with Source. As Abraham says, “For by your finding agreement with the power that flows forth from within you, the harmony that you seek on all other levels and all other subjects—and within all others—will then (and only then) be possible.”

It is Abraham’s desire to help you remember the art of alignment first—then action. Alignment first—then conversation. Alignment first—then interaction. Alignment first—then anything else. Your relationships will all fall easily into alignment once you tend to this fundamental primary relationship first.

Order The Vortex and learn how to achieve the harmony you desire at all levels, in all of your relationships.

In celebration of the release of The Vortex, if you order now, you’ll receive a FREE 2-hour workshop download by Abraham-Hicks immediately upon purchase!

Being in the Heart-Space

If you are anything like me, and I am taking an educated guess at saying we are very much alike in many ways, our path of healing is on the edge between the Headspace of thinking and sorting and deciding and the Heartspace of loving, being and allowing.

Our personal work is the bringing together of Heaven and Earth, so to speak, through our conscious presence.

It is our work to occupy each of these planes with equal acceptance, know that our focus is determining where our energy is flowing.

It is our work to remember that there are no wrong feelings - and no right feelings either. Only feelings we want and feelings we do not want. The key here is to look upon all the may feelings we experience as pleasing and not pleasing to us through the same eyes of acceptance.

It is only when we allow each of them the right to be (and in so doing release attachment to them) that balance is achieved.

It is our work to remember that we can take anything into the Heartspace, all is welcome here.

It is our work to look upon our disconcerting emotions and realize that they are serving us in some way. It is only when we identify with what we are feeling, that is to say when we make them ours and base our self-identity upon them, that we solidify them and grant them power to determine our choices.

Feel around the difference between, “I am angry” and “There is anger within me” and “I can sense anger.”

Can you feel the opening the last one creates? It invites us to see anger for what it is: a vibration, and nothing more. It is as it is.

It is when we make it ours that we place the burden of being something we are not upon ourselves. When we see it for what it is we can choose to receive what it is offering us from a more empowered place.

Our feelings are merely indicators of our alignment to what we are wanting. Indeed, when we accept this and choose to observe rather than react, we open the doorway of possibility and now we can feel the power of our choice.

There is never an ultimate solution outside of us. It is always within us. And it is rarely a cause and effect, “if this, then”, type of solution. It is indeed a state of BEing that invites us to linger just a little longer in the Heartspace - where we FEEL that All is Well.

It is.

I am encouraging you to observe your feelings without judgement. All are beneficial. All are pointing you in the direction of what is most pleasing to you. All are offering you the choice to see clearly where you want to be.

Remember, nothing is ever done to us. Only for us. We do not have to dig up reasons why we think we have to change our vibration. We do not have to make a list of things we must change within our beliefs. These things come to us naturally when we are living in the moment of what we are wanting.

In other words, as we bask in the energies that we are experiencing, knowing that they are all assisting us in lining up with what we want, what no longer serves us will be made known. We do not have to know what is no longer serving us in order to live from a place of alignment.

And when they come, when we realise what we are needing to let go of, rejoice!

Be lighthearted in the unfolding of your ever expanding awareness. As we become more and more aware of our limiting beliefs, we are becoming more and more ready for change.

The healing occurs in the moment of realization. We stunt the healing when we berate ourselves after being aware. We resist feeling good when we believe there is a price to pay for being who we really are.

Yes, as we awaken to our divine nature we will see more and more clearly where we have taken on beliefs that defy this truth - celebrate! The more times in a day that we catch ourselves playing a role that is not who we really are the more evidence we are giving ourselves that we are awakening.

This is what we are never going to get done, and what we cannot ever get wrong. You see, the players and circumstances may vary but the same message will underline our experience until we ‘get it’ so to speak.

There is never a need to feel as though we are taking two steps forward then three steps back.

Contrast is here to let us know how close we are to personifying our divine and inherent nature - we are beings of wellness, we are wellbeing.

And All Is Well.

Friday Favourites: Communing with Intuition

One of the most important things I have come to learn about working with my intuition is the value of having fun with it! Feeling good is the single most important thing we can do for ourselves: it releases stress and tension thereby boosting the immune system and uplifting our spirits. It allows us to inhabit the moment without worry and makes our orbit inviting to others. It also creates a clear channel from which we can receive intuitive guidance with ease.

Having said all of this, please do not think that there will be a huge and unbearable price to pay if you find yourself feeling less than good. Going through the contrast of our daily lives is part of being alive. Being enlightened does not mean never experiencing contrast. It simply means having the wisdom to know that it too shall pass and that there is a gift within every experience, regardless of the labels we have put on them. The enlightened visionary does not attach his or her sense of happiness on external events. The enlightened being knows that nothing is permanant and therefore the only way to be at peace is to source it from within.

Our intuition invites us to experience the power of our Free Will. It gives us nudges in the form of suggestions to follow our bliss and move toward the essence of our deepest desire (which is is always a good feeling place wrapped up in a fun illusion). It is up to us to make the choice to act on our intuition. It is up to us to shift our focus toward that which pleases us and the first step in this is always an internal shift. A shift of perception.

Being in a good feeling place is simply a matter of choosing to not worry and then animating that choice in such a way that it allows us to inhabit a space of enjoying the moment simply for its own sake.

Remember, you do not only have the choice to feel better when you are feeling less than good. Get into the habit of asking yourself, “how good am I willing to stand it?” and then give yourself permission to shift even higher up the vibrational scale. Allow your contrast to incluce better and even better.

Here are two instant vibration raisers that I have found to work wonders for me. They all include communing with intuition and allowing our higher knowing to guide us.

Please feel free to add your own, it is always uplifting to try new and fun ways to be in joy in the moment!

- Ask yourself: what is my favourite colour?

Most people have a stock standard answer to this, which they have used since we were six.

Before answering, close your eyes and allow yourself to feel your way through this. Embrace all the colours that come to you. You will know which is your favourite by the way you feel.

Your intuition often speaks in the language of feelings. By tapping into how you feel you are perfecting your intuitive tongue. You are also learning the valuable art of observing how you feel as opposed to just feeling in response to what you are thinking.

- Body Bliss

Our bodies are portals through which are able to experience the magical essence of every moment. Oftentimes we feel burned out because are occupying our mental minds far more than we are occupying the rest of our bodies.

Intuition is a whole body langage. Not only does it commune with us through inspired thoughts and ideas and through emotions but also through our bodies.

Here is a fun way to get into the body and thus into harmony with our intuitive nature.

Take in a few deep conscious breaths. Notice that you cannot think and consciously breathe at the same time. Neat, huh?

Now spend some time with each of your senses. Look around and see everything around you. If you are consciously breathing while doing this, you will give yourself the space the witness through the eyes of your source self, your intuitive, all knowing self. Most often we are quick to label what we see before we see it for what it truly is. By looking without labeling we invite the spirit of that which we see to make itself visible to us.

Listen, truly listen. Let each sound wash over you. Notice how you feel.  Smell and taste in an attitude of curiosity. Allow each scent, each flavour to dance within your perception, weaving a sensual tapestry of appreciation within your heart.

Touch - your hair, your face, your desk, your walls. Touch your heart through each texture that sings into your flesh. Let is all in. Revel in each of your senses. You are a sensual being.

Book Review: Trust Your Vibes by Sonia Choquette

Trust Your VibesIf you are looking for a book that talks about the value of intuition, discusses why it pays to listen to your intuition, and explains how to improve your intuition through practical and easy-to-understand processes, then I highly recommend Trust Your Vibes: Secret Tools for Six-Sensory Living by Sonia Choquette.

This book is full of interesting anecdotes and practical advice. Sonia teaches through examples from her own life, and from the experiences of her clients. She presents the idea of living your life guided by your intuition in a way that not only makes it sound like the most reasonable thing in the world (which it is!), but also in a way that is completely accessible to anyone hoping to move forward toward this type of ’six-sensory’ existence.

Here are two excerpts addressing some of the ‘psychic secrets’ Sonia reveals throughout the book:

Secret 14: Write It Down “…Recording your vibes is the most direct physical way to march your mind across the bridge from an ego-based, five-sensory reality to a spirit-based, six-sensory one. Like a diver on a treasure hunt, each newly seized message from your psychic sense will help build a platform of reason on which to stand. You’ll no longer just have a feeling–you’ll have verification that your vibes are legitimate guides that help you in life…”

Secret 28: Laughing Matters “…Some people can’t distinguish between the ego and the sixth sense. Here’s the difference: Your spirit is relaxed, forgiving, and laughs a lot, especially at you and your own antics; and your ego is critical and controlling and rarely laughs at anything, especially itself. The soul gently requests and trusts, while the ego demands and is suspicious. The soul is light and easy and loves adventures; the ego can be harsh and heavy and gets stuck in the mud…”

If I were to recommend one book to help foster and gain insight into intuition, then Trust Your Vibes would likely be it.

If you’ve read Trust Your Vibes, I’d love to hear what you thought of it! Please do leave a comment below or drop me an email.

Trusting in our Process

One of the most important things we can do to help improve our manifesting experience is to build a relationship of trust within ourselves. Trust that things always work out, trust in the flow, trust in our natural abilities, trust in the Universe’s desire and ability to support us… When we have faith in the process and our place within it, we sit in a space of positive expectation, allowing room for magic and miracles to happen! This exercise is about recognizing where we have experienced a deep level of trust in our lives so that we can tap into that feeling in other areas.

Consider past manifestations. Make a list of things that you imagined, wanted, and then received in your life. This list might include things you have consciously manifested, or it may include mostly things that unfolded for you without your deliberate intent. It doesn’t matter how actively you pursued the manifestation, or how big or small the item or experience was. (If you have difficultly coming up with a list of your own past experiences, feel free to borrow from the experiences of others around you.)

What was the level of trust? Take a look at your list and consider what level of trust you had that you were going to receive each thing. Did you just know you were going to get that raise? Were you absolutely confident that the boy would want to go out with you? Were you sure you were going to win that contest?

Look at your current desire. Think about a current desire you are hoping to manifest. What’s your level of trust and expectation of success? Recognize where your trust is strong, and where you might need a boost. You might want to use EFT to tap on any areas where you feel a great deal of resistance.

Demonstrate your trust. Think about what action you could take right now to demonstrate your trust, and faith in your success? This might mean sharing your plans with others (be sure they’re people that will be supportive!), doing some research for your new web site, contacting a travel agent to inquire about that vacation, test driving your new car… think about the steps you would take if you absolutely trusted that your desire is manifesting, and consider moving forward with some of them!

We’d love to hear about how this process works for you! Please do leave a comment or send us an email to share any insights you have.

Attachment and Manifesting What We Want by Andrea Hess

May 7, 2009 by shireen

Detachment from the outcome is essential to manifesting what we want into our lives. It’s also probably the most difficult aspect to consciously master. We’ve decided what we want. We’ve asked for it, maybe done a little ritual or process. And now we have to let it go – really, truly surrender the outcome. It’s not easy.
The saying “the watched kettle never boils” absolutely applies. If we’re waiting for what we want to materialize, if we’re watching, if our attention is still on what we’ve asked for … well, not much of anything happens. But if our attention is diverted, if we suddenly let go … poof! What we’ve asked for begins to manifest.
The first few times we try to consciously manifest anything, we may barely notice that our detachment is required. It may seem like coincidence that we get what we want while we’re otherwise preoccupied. Or we find that we only manifest what we’re not all that attached to. Then we start catching on … and we start trying to consciously let go of the outcome. We try very hard not to watch that kettle, so that it will finally boil. We try to divert our attention. We actively work for detachment.
Here’s the problem, though. We are practicing detachment for the sake of our desired outcome. Which isn’t detachment at all! In fact, by striving for detachment, we’re actually now in a state of greater attachment! One might even say that we’re attached to detachment.
Let’s have a look at the nature of attachment. At the conscious level, we have bravely announced our intentions to the Universe, asked for assistance, and are ready and willing to detach from the outcome. Consciously, we’re saying: “And so it is!” and letting the outcome go.

Underneath that intent, however, the rest of the egoic mind is busy chanting: “No, it’s not! No, it’s not!” Now we are sending out both the energy of already having what we want, and wanting what we don’t already have into the Universe. The result is absolutely nothing, since the two energies cancel each other out.
In order to step out of attachment, we have to examine what we gain from remaining in a state of wanting. Make no mistake about it – the egoic mind is getting something out of its state of attachment. You see, the ego has made up a really good story about why you don’t yet have what you want. Let’s say you’d like to make more money. The ego’s story may be “I’m just not self-motivated enough to grow my business,” or “I have issues with financial abundance.”
The ego derives a great deal of entertainment value and strength from its stories. The mind can hold endless conversations with itself about your lack of self-motivation, for example. The ego then gets a powerful emotional charge out of the stories the mind tells. These energies may not be uplifting – but they serve to further feed the mind, which keeps on thinking its stories, creating more emotional charge, creating more energy. In this way, the ego strengthens itself. Part of us becomes our story.
Attachment is really our inability to let go of the story we’ve created about why we don’t yet have what we want. In order to consciously let go of attachment, we have to ask ourselves: “What am I getting out of NOT receiving what I want?” What is the story the ego has been constructing to justify our state of lack?
If your story has been that you’re not self-motivated enough to grow your business, your mind may have been alternately creating thoughts of self-blame and guilt, followed by thoughts of how you don’t care, anyway. Maybe there’s even a few “reasons” in there about how your parents never taught you discipline. Your ego has been entertaining and strengthening itself for years with these patterns.
Once you know the story, the next question is “Who would you be without that story?” What if there were nothing wrong with your level of self-motivation? What would the part of you that has been operating on self-blame and guilt do with itself? What would your ego do for entertainment? No more self-pity and self-criticism, no more self-sabotage to feed new thoughts … the ego would have to give up a part of itself and its constructed identity.
Giving up attachment would allow us to manifest what we want. But manifesting what we want would mean that we have to give up our story – and that is terrifying to the ego. This is why we create attachment – it is the ego’s attempt to hold on to its identity.
If you manifested exactly what you wanted , every single time, your ego might have to give up the biggest story of all. It would have to give up the story that you are not 100% responsible for everything that shows up in your life. It would have to put all illusion of limitation aside, and acknowledge its own Divinity.
Blessings,
Andrea

Guest Post: What Do We Mean by Vibration? by Abraham-Hicks

Money, and the Law of Attraction The following is excerpted from the book Money, and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health, and Happiness by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Don’t miss your chance to win a copy of your own!

When we speak of vibration, we are actually calling your attention to the basis of your experience, for everything is actually vibrationally based. We could use the word Energy interchangeably, and there are many other synonyms in your vocabulary that accurately apply.

Most understand the vibrational characteristics of sound. Sometimes when the deep, rich bass notes of your musical instrumentation are played loudly, you can even feel the vibrational nature of sound.

We want you to understand that whenever you “hear” something, you are interpreting vibration into the sound you are hearing. What you hear is your interpretation of vibration; what you hear is your unique interpretation of vibration. Each of your physical senses of seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, and touching exist because everything in the Universe is vibrating and your physical senses are reading the vibrations and giving you sensory perception of the vibrations.

So as you come to understand that you live in a pulsating, vibrating Universe of advanced harmonics, and that at the very core of your being you are vibrating at what could only be described as perfection in vibrational balance and harmony, then you begin to understand vibration in the way we are projecting it.

Everything that exists, in your air, in your dirt, in your water, and in your bodies, is vibration in motion—and all of it is managed by the powerful Law of Attraction.

You could not sort it out if you wanted to. And there is no need for you to sort it out, because the Law of Attraction is doing the sorting, continually bringing things of like vibrations together while things of different vibrational natures are being repelled.

Your emotions, which really are the most powerful and important of your six physical vibrational interpreters, give you constant feedback about the harmonics of your current thoughts (vibrations) as they compare with the harmonics of your core vibrational state.

The Non-Physical world is vibration.

The physical world that you know is vibration.

There is nothing that exists outside of this vibrational nature.

There is nothing that is not managed by the Law of Attraction.

Your understanding of vibration will help you to consciously bridge both worlds.

You do not have to understand your complex optic nerve or your primary visual cortex in order to see. You do not have to understand electricity to be able to turn on the light, and you do not have to understand vibrations in order to feel the difference between harmony or discord.

As you learn to accept your vibrational nature, and begin to consciously utilize your emotional vibrational indicators, you will gain conscious control of your personal creations and of the outcomes of your life experience.

The above content was excerpted from the book Money, and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health, and Happiness by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Don’t miss your chance to win a copy of your own!
